In hiring a couple to help with the running of your home you can have all the bases covered – one person to run the household, clean, cook and even look after the children if needed, and another to tend the garden, do maintenance jobs and possibly even do some driving for you. They can run your home on their own or be part of a team for larger properties. Depending on your needs, together they could cover a variety of roles including chauffeur, handyman, gardener, cook, housekeeper and nanny.

Generally couples look for a full-time, live-in position, possibly with separate accommodation, but this is not always the case. The couples that we have on our books are always personally interviewed and checked by us. They are skilled and experienced in their fields and take seriously the jobs that they do.

 

Couples currently available:

Agnieszka and Marcin are a lovely, friendly and warm Polish couple. The have spend the past 7 months working together in a private household in England, Agnieszka worked in the capacity of a nanny / housekeeper for a very large home with 25 rooms. Marcin's duties included gardening, building, bricklaying, maintenance of the estate, chauffeur and some babysitting. Both are learning English and are very pleasant and energetic. They are looking for a couple position either in Scotland or central London to start as soon as possible. Marcin and Agnieszka would like a new position with a lovely family who will appreciate their dedication to the job and hardworking attitude.

Leanne and Igor are a friendly, down to earth couple looking for a position to start as soon as possible. Leanne is a qualified chef and has 10 years experience working as a chef in Australia and Igor has a background in Electrical Engineering and is also an outstanding chef with nearly 7 years experience working in London, Ireland and Slovakia. Both Leanne and Igor have experience working as a couple, they have spent the last six months in Ireland working in a pub kitchen running the kitchen, cooking, cleaning and organising stock control. Igor is a keen handyman and while does not have professional experience, he has basic maintenance experience at his own house and when a live in exchange student in America.

David and Dorothy are a delightful, down to earth couple from New Zealand who have a warm sense of humour and a 'can do' attitude. They have spent the last 18 months working as a couple for a family in East Sussex and unfortunately are no longer required there as the children are at full time school and they no longer need full time staff. Their duties in this position involved gardening, handyman work, DIY, security, dog walking, chauffeur, nanny duties (including overnight stays with the children), housekeeping and family cooking. David and Dorothy have outstanding references from this family who describe them as efficient, extremely hardworking, honest, trustworthy and an asset to their household.
