Housekeepers have become increasingly popular over recent years. Hiring a full-time, or part-time, housekeeper can make life so much better if you’re the kind of person who likes a house to look, feel and smell like a home, but you can’t make it that way yourself!

Increasingly, couples are hiring housekeepers because they find that both partners have busy and time-consuming jobs and neither has the time or energy to keep the home going. Housekeepers are also invaluable to single professionals who have very little free time and need more done than just a quick clean once a week. They need someone to do the shopping, collect the dry cleaning, fill the freezer and deal with tradesmen while they’re out. Big, busy families find housekeepers a great boon, allowing parents to have quality time with the children without having to worry about all the household management tasks. Housekeepers sometimes babysit in the evenings and often make food for the children.

Some of our housekeepers are also experienced in looking after babies and young children on a regular basis. Some of them have had children of their own so they are particularly experienced in childcare. If you have children and you need some help with them as well as the running of the home, a nanny-housekeeper can be the perfect compromise: the house is kept spotless, food is cooked for dinner, all the laundry is done and the children are playing happily!

Velina is a friendly, sweet Filipino housekeeper with over 20 years experience as a live in nanny/housekeeper and housekeeper. Velina is available to start anytime and is looking for a live in housekeeper position (she would consider a role with children if they are over 12), Monday - Friday full time for £300pwn where she can stay long term. While Jayne does not have any professional housekeeping experience in private homes, she has a background in hotel management and was bought up in this environment so she is very familiar with the responsibilities of running a busy household. Jayne loves dogs and is quite happy to work with animals including dog walking as well as all aspects of general cleaning, laundry, ironing, cooking and housekeeping.
